PrepLearn collects information to provide better services to all our users. We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you give us: When you register an Organization or sign up for a demo, we ask for personal information, like your name, email address, and telephone number.
- Assessment Data: We collect and store the content of assessments created by Organizations, including sections, questions, and custom scales.
- User Responses: We store the answers provided by users taking assessments to calculate educational matches via the College Scorecard data.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and protect our services. Specifically:
Assessment Logic
Using user answers to map to academic programs and US institutions via federal data.
Organization Branding
Applying custom branding templates and subdomains to your specific assessment instances.
3. Educational Data & Integration
PrepLearn integrates with collegescorecard.ed.gov. While we pull data from federal sources to provide placement results, we do not share your private assessment results back to federal agencies unless explicitly authorized by the Organization Admin.
4. Information Security
We work hard to protect PrepLearn and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold. We use SSL encryption for all data transmissions and offer SSO (Single Sign-On) integrations for secure access management.
